Collecting Data with a Pocket PC Device

In addition to providing free Palm software for collecting field data, CowCalf5 also provides free software for users of Pocket PC (Windows CE) PDA's. The Pocket CowCalf5 software has the same functions and features as the Palm CowCalf5 software.

Using an EID Bluetooth reader, you can also scan eid tags to place the EID number into an individual animals record, or scan an EID tag to look up an animals record.

Like the palm version, the Pocket CowCalf5 syncronizes directly into CowCalf5's PC software for immediate data entry into the desktop software.
